Willkommen auf meiner privaten Musik-Seite. Ich musiziere privat als Hobby,
sozusagen "nur zum Spaß". Seit ich 15 Jahre war, spiele ich Gitarre und es
scheint die dauerhafteste Konstante meines bisherigen Daseins zu sein.

Von dem, was man heute als "Fingerstyle"-Gitarre bezeichnet, war ich von
allem Anfang an fasziniert. Dies begann mit Donovan Leitch, den ich als Jugendlicher oft
und viel gehört und dessen Gitarrenspiel ich nach meinen Möglichkeiten kopiert habe.
Später hatte ich einmal Gelegenheit, Werner Lämmerhirt live zu erleben
(als er noch ziemlich jung und unbekannt war). Schließlich gibt es da noch einen Leo
Kottke, dessen "best of" CD ich bestimmt schon 7.833 mal gehört habe.
Ich liebe auch Bluegrass, die Geschwindigkeit und Präzision, wenn
Doc Watson, Tony Rice, Jack Lawrence, Dan Crary, Steve Kaufman oder Ricky Skaggs
loslegen (um nur einige zu nennen)....Bei
der elektrischen Gitarrenmusik fasziniert mich das Spiel von Jerry Donahue und Albert Lee.
Hier sind einige Musikstücke zu finden, die ich mittels Home-Recording - also
unter Nutzung des Computers als virtuelles Tonstudio- aufgenommen habe. Von den
Eigenkompositionen sind teilweise die Noten und Tabulaturen vorhanden.
Es handelt sich um Traditionals und einige
selbstgeschriebene Stücke.
Außerdem sind meine Gitarren aufgelistet und können betrachtet werden. Dazu
gibt es etwas an gitarrenbauerischen Arbeiten zu sehen, die
ich an einigen Instrumenten selbst vorgenommen habe oder habe machen
lassen.
Zudem habe ich zusammengestellt und beschrieben, wie man
mit dem Fingerpicking anfangen kann. Dort gibt es Beispiele nicht
nur in Noten/Tabulatur und passende MP3-Dateien, sondern auch
Kurzfilme, die verschiedene Aspekte der rechten und linken Hand im
bewegten Bild anschaulich machen.
Schließlich habe ich unter den URLS
ein hauptsächlich deutschsprachiges Forum rund um das
Thema "akustische Gitarre" ins Internet gestellt. Das
Forum ist sehr nett und informativ, allen Teilnehmern sei Dank,
daher lohnt ein Besuch.
Diese Seite und die darin
enthaltenen Informationen dienen dem Üben, privaten Studien und der

Right from the beginning I was caught by the kind of playing being called
"fingerstyle guitar" today. It began with Donovan Leitch; I listened to his
records regularily and tried to copy his way to pick with my means. Later I
had the opportunity to watch a concert of the german fingerstyle guitarist Werner
Lämmerhirt (when he was quite young and unknown). Finally there is a man with the name
Leo Kottke, who's "best of" CD I must have been
listening about 7,833 times. I also love Bluegrass, the speed
and precision when Doc Watson, Tony Rice, Jack Lawrence, Dan Crary,
Steve Kaufman or Ricky Skaggs (to name a few)
start over...With the electric guitar I am
fascinated by the styles of Jerry Donahue and Albert Lee.
You can find some songs at this spot, wich I made at home by the
means of home-recording using the computer as a virtual
recording-studio.
The score and tabulature of some of my own compositions are
available too. There are some traditionals and some songs I wrote
myself.
I've listed my guitars too and you will find a showroom where my accoustics are
exhibited. I also show some excursions I made into "luthier
land", iE polishing satin finishis to high gloss and sinilar
things.
Finally I tried to describe the way how to
get into the fingerpicking style. There are samples not only to be
found in notation/tabulature and matching mp3 files, I also put some
clips ther to illustrate varous aspects of the right or left hand
technique.
